The best actor prize was shared by Dhanush for Tamil film "Aadukalam" and Salim Kumar for "Adaminte Makan Abu".
The best actress award was also shared -- by Saranya Ponvannan for Tamil film "Thenmerkku Paruvakkatru" and Mitalee Jagtap Varadkar for Marathi film "Baboo Band Baaja".
Vetrimaran took the honours in the directing category for Tamil film "Aadukulam".
