‘I can always lean on Salman’: Zarine Khan

Every newbie in Bollywood has to be in news due to relationship rumours. Something similar happened to Zarine Khan too.Debuting opposite Salman Khan in Veer, linked her up to the actor.. But she has no qualms admitting that when she is in trouble, she falls back on him.

“I don’t know about camp, but, yes, I believe in being loyal to the person (Salman) who brought me to the industry. He doesn’t have any block in his head. In professional life, I am free to do whatever I like. I do not have a Bollywood background and do not know a lot of people here; so wherever I am in a fix, I fall back on him (Salman),” Zarine said in an interview.

“I was a struggling model and was looking for some kind of work to take care of my family. I was doing small print ads now and then for saris. One day I got a call from Mukta Arts. They called me on the sets of Yuvvraaj. There I met Salman. When I asked for his autograph, he said, ‘No sweetheart you will sign autograph for the world’. Later I got to know that he has selected me for the film,” she added.

Zarine has been roped in for Housefull 2 and says it will help her in breaking her image.
“I really wanted to do this film because I wanted to break the perception of people who thought that because I am from the UK, I can’t speak Hindi and I am not fit for a particular look. I wanted to break the image I had during Veer. I think Housefull 2 will help me in proving my point,” she said.
But the positive response to her item song Character Dhila with Salman in Ready has raised her hopes.

Ash in’Heroine’ will cost heavy for Abhi….

Working on Madhur’s ‘Heroine’ might come to Aishwarya at the cost of losing the rom-com she was to do with husband Abhishek Bachchan.
It’s common knowledge by now thatAishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine to be produced by UTV. The film, which revolves around the life of a film actress, will have the director get back to his realistic filmmaking, post the lighthearted Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji .

However, this project might come toAishwarya at the cost of losing another film which she was supposed to do with hubby Abhishek Bachchan. Aishwarya and Abhishek were recently finalized to come together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s rom-com Ladies & Gentleman . “However UTV wants Madhur’s film to start in July”, says an industry insider.

Reason behaind John-Bips break up…

John Abraham and Bipasha break up after a decade of being in a relationship.

The actual split happened mid-February but they decided to keep it away from the media.

The timing is perfect. Bipasha has moved on and is busy shooting her Hollywood crossover film Singularity and also Abbas Mustan’s Players. She felt it was important for everyone to know after reports of her link up with Josh Hartnett started surfacing. Friends reveal that she had given John the permission to talk about it if he wanted. “It was very obvious when John walked in solo on the sets of Koffee with Karan that they were done, says the source. But he decided to keep shut, only opening up to few of his close friends. With Bips getting close to Josh after his recent break up with hisgirlfriend Sophia Lie, it was the right time for her to come out in the open.

Close friends confirm that there was not one but several reasons for the impending split.

The biggest being John’s inability to commit to settling down. A friend on basis of anonymity spills the beans, “10 years is not a short time. Other couples would have settled down ages ago, but they obviously wanted to focus on their careers and make money. But over the last two years Bipasha was getting increasingly frustrated with his attitude towards their relationship. He had started taking her for granted and it really hurt her.”

Secondly, Bips was always insecure of John and whenever she would go on outdoors she would get to hear of his growing proximity with either his co-stars (Katrina during New York, Vidya during Salam-e-Ishq) or up coming models. She had grown tired of turning a deaf ear to these whispers.

However, the biggest blow came when John heard that Bipasha was trying to make her way into Salman’s camp and sending him feelers. “He was hurt that she was trying hard to get a film with Salman. Despite public declaration from John-Salman that they are no longer enemies, the fact remains that they still despise each other. When he confronted Bips she denied and that got him more upset. They would keep having loud verbal arguments with things being thrown around. Friends would try to intervene but to no avail.”
